Opportunities for ELLIS Students based at German Sites

Are you an ELLIS PhD student based at a German institution looking to broaden your research experience through international collaboration? ELIZA supports research stays at ELLIS units outside of Germany.

Target group:

  • ELLIS PhD students at ELIZA sites.

Aim:

  • Support 6-12 month research stays at an ELLIS unit outside of Germany.

Arrangements:

  • Visiting of an existing co-supervisor at an ELLIS unit abroad for the purposes of joint research.

Funding:

  • Funding will follow the official DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) rates.
  • Additional financial support is available for married candidates and those with children.
  • Relocation support is provided, with the specific amounts depending on individual needs and following DAAD guidelines.

Duration:

  • Between 6 and 12 months.

Decisions:

  • Preference will be given to (1) ELIZA PhD students and to (2) ELLIS PhD students who are associated with ELIZA.
