- Master’s Student
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Autonomous Systems and Robotics at TU Darmstadt, after discovering during my Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science that the intersection of Machine Learning and Robotics is what truly excites me. Since then, I have contributed to several tactile sensing projects at the Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS) group, focusing on Active Learning and Reinforcement Learning. This work led to a paper at ICRA 2024 titled “What Matters for Active Texture Recognition With Vision-Based Tactile Sensors”, co-authored with Tim Schneider, Boris Belousov, Alap Kshirsagar, Lisa Lin, Katja Doerschner, Knut Drewing, Constantin A. Rothkopf, and Jan Peters.
Beyond IAS, I have worked on Explainable AI at the AIML lab (Prof. Kristian Kersting), image and video analysis with Prof. Simone Schaub-Meyer’s group, and imitation learning at PEARL (Prof. Georgia Chalvatzaki). I also completed a research internship at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, where I worked on reinforcement learning for robotic table tennis.
