Altana Namsaraeva

Currently, I am finishing my Masters degree in Bioinformatics at LMU and Technical University of Munich. Previously, I earned my bachelor’s in bioinformatics in Munich in 2023. I have been engaged in different research assistant positions during my studies: I worked at Prof. Fabian Theis’s lab at the Institute for Computational Biology and Prof. Matthias Mann’s lab at the Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry. My ELIZA focus area is the application of ML to medicine and biology. I primarily work in the software development domain and have contributed to Python frameworks such as scPortrait (https://github.com/MannLabs/scPortrait) and ehrapy (https://github.com/theislab/ehrapy). I am particularly interested in medical and biological imaging data and computer vision. In the future, I would like to pursue a PhD in this field.
