- Master’s Student
My name is Kai, and I am a first-year master of machine learning student at the University of Tübingen. I am interested in various topics in machine learning. However, my primary goal is to use mathematics to gain a better understanding of how machine learning algorithms behave. In the upcoming semester, I will be undertaking a student research project on explainable artificial intelligence in the Theory of Machine Learning group led by Prof. Dr. Ulrike von Luxburg. During my bachelor’s degree, I investigated the performance of distributional losses on regression problems. Upon graduation, I was awarded the Governor General’s Academic Silver Medal for outstanding academic performance.
