Laurin Sefa is a Master Student in Machine Learning at the University of Tübingen. Fascinated by the designs machines are able to come up with, Laurin is contributing to the digital discovery of physics experiments at the Artificial Scientist Lab (artificial-scientist-lab.ai). The group utilizes artificial intelligence to drive forward the discovery understanding of the Universe and its mechanics via simulated experiment setups. He is now supervising an optimization competition subject to the discovery of gravitational wave detectors building upon his benchmarking framework.
