Pablo Santos Blázquez - Zuse School ELIZA

Master’s Student

Pablo Santos Blázquez is pursuing a Master’s in Machine Learning at the University of Tübingen with a Zuse School ELIZA scholarship. His current interests focus on applying machine learning to omics and bioinformatics, particularly to extract meaningful biological insights from high-dimensional genomic, transcriptomic, and other molecular data. He holds a Master’s in Intelligent Systems and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Salamanca, where he received the Extraordinary Award for the 2022/23 academic year and won the Cum Laude Award for Young Talent in the 2025/26 call. His previous research includes AI for healthcare and medical image analysis. His work, “AI-Powered DICOM Image Segmentation: A Collaborative Platform for Continuous Expert Feedback,” was accepted as a full paper at CISTI 2025. He has also led machine learning, IoT, and smart retail projects at CARTTECLAB S.L.
